DAY 1 — DUBLIN TO KILKENNY | 110 MILES
We start our Irish adventure as we come off the ferry in Dublin and head south towards Kilkenny.
Our first day takes us through some fantastic Irish scenery, including Powerscourt Waterfall, Sally Gap, Laragh and Wicklow Gap. Expect winding roads, stunning mountain scenery and plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the views.
We’ll make our way to our hotel in Kilkenny, where we’ll have our first evening meal together — the perfect opportunity to relax, get to know each other and prepare for the adventure ahead.
DAY 2 — KILKENNY TO CORK | 134 MILES
After breakfast, we leave the hotel with no rush and head towards Cork, taking in some of the best roads and scenery County Tipperary has to offer.
Our route takes us across the spectacular Vee Pass, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views stretching across four counties and some truly beautiful Irish countryside.
We then continue towards Blarney Castle, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the famous Blarney Stone.
Legend has it that those who kiss the Blarney Stone receive the legendary “Gift of the Gab” — the ability to speak with charm, eloquence and persuasiveness!
From Blarney, we continue on to our accommodation in Cork.
DAY 3 — CORK TO KENMARE | 189 MILES
Today we begin our journey along Ireland’s legendary Wild Atlantic Way.
Leaving Cork behind, we head towards Kinsale before continuing along the spectacular coastline towards Mizen Head Signal Station, Ireland’s most south-westerly point.
From Mizen Head we turn north, following the rugged coastline and making our way towards the spectacular Healy Pass on the Beara Peninsula.
With dramatic mountain scenery, twisting roads and incredible coastal views, this is a day made for motorcycling.
We finish the day in Kenmare, where we can relax and enjoy another evening in Ireland.
DAY 4 — RING OF KERRY & DINGLE | 201 MILES
Today brings another spectacular riding day as we take on the famous Ring of Kerry.
We’ll discover some of the area's hidden gems, including the Grotto and Slate Quarry, before cutting through the centre of County Kerry.
Our route then takes us across the Ballaghbeama Pass, one of Ireland’s wild and remote mountain roads, before continuing towards the Dingle Peninsula.
With dramatic mountains, sweeping coastal views and some fantastic riding roads, this promises to be one of the highlights of the tour.
We then make our way to our accommodation for the evening.
DAY 5 — DINGLE TO GALWAY | 191 MILES
We leave the hotel and continue north, following the Atlantic coastline towards Loop Head Lighthouse.
From here we head towards Kilkee Cliffs and Spanish Point, before reaching one of Ireland’s most famous landmarks — the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
Standing high above the Atlantic Ocean, the cliffs provide some truly unforgettable views.
After taking in the scenery, we continue towards Galway and our accommodation.
DAY 6 — GALWAY | DAY OFF THE BIKE
Today is a well-earned day off the bikes.
After several fantastic days riding Ireland’s Atlantic coast, there’s no need to set the alarm early or pack the panniers. Today is yours to relax and explore Galway at your own pace.
Take a stroll through the famous Latin Quarter, explore the colourful streets, enjoy the local shops and cafés, or simply find somewhere to sit back and watch the world go by.
For those who want to make the most of the day, there are plenty of attractions and places to explore around Galway.
And, of course, there’s always the option of a relaxed lunch and a few Irish refreshments!
Tonight we return to the hotel and enjoy another evening together before getting back on the bikes tomorrow and continuing our journey north through County Mayo.
NO MILEAGE TODAY — THE BIKES STAY PARKED!
DAY 7 — GALWAY TO NEWPORT | 166 MILES
Today we leave Galway behind and head into County Mayo.
We’ll follow the coastal roads, taking in beautiful scenery, small villages and plenty of opportunities to stop at some of the many discovery points and viewpoints along the route.
The roads become quieter as we head further into Mayo, eventually arriving in Newport, where we’ll settle in for the evening.
DAY 8 — NEWPORT TO BALLYSHANNON | 179 MILES
Leaving Newport behind, we continue our journey north along the Atlantic coast.
Today is all about discovering Ireland’s quieter side, with scenic ocean views, small towns and rural villages along the way.
We’ll continue northwards through some of Ireland’s beautiful coastal countryside before arriving at our accommodation just outside Ballyshannon, close to the border with Northern Ireland.
Another great day in the saddle comes to an end.
DAY 9 — BALLYSHANNON TO LONDONDERRY | 187 MILES
Today we continue along Ireland’s stunning northern coastline.
Our route takes us towards Fanad Head Lighthouse, one of the most spectacular locations on the Donegal coast.
There will be plenty of opportunities along the way to stop, stretch our legs and take in the incredible Atlantic scenery.
After exploring the coastline, we continue towards Letterkenny, our base for the night.
DAY 10 — LONDONDERRY TO LONDONDERRY | 132 MILES
We leave LONDONDERRY behind and head towards the most northerly point of our Irish adventure — Malin Head.
Ireland’s most northerly point offers spectacular views across the Atlantic and is another unforgettable stop on our journey.
From Malin Head, we continue towards the coast and take a small ferry across to Magilligan Point.
From there we head towards Londonderry, arriving with plenty of time left in the afternoon to explore this historic city and take in some of its sights.
DAY 11 — LONDONDERRY TO DUBLIN | 150 MILES
After breakfast, we enjoy a final tour around the sights as we leave Londonderry behind.
We then begin our journey south towards Dublin, taking a scenic route and making the most of our final day of riding in Ireland.
With the Atlantic adventure almost complete, we arrive in Dublin and settle into our accommodation for the next two nights.
DAY 12 — DUBLIN | DAY OFF THE BIKE
Today we leave the bikes parked and enjoy a day off the saddle exploring Dublin.
There will be time to discover the city, enjoy some of its famous sights and, in the afternoon, visit the legendary Guinness Brewery.
In the evening, we’ll get together for our final meal of the tour — a chance to look back on an incredible journey of riding, scenery, laughs and adventure.
DAY 13 — DUBLIN & FERRY HOME
After breakfast, we make our way to the ferry terminal for the journey home.
This is where our Irish adventure comes to an end, with hopefully plenty of fantastic memories, photographs and new friendships to take home with us.
