Job Title: Motorcycle Tour Leader / Tour Guide
Role Overview
The Motorcycle Tour Leader is responsible for leading groups of motorcycle riders on organised UK and European motorcycle tours. The role involves route planning, rider briefings, navigation, group management and ensuring riders have a safe, enjoyable and well-organised experience.
Lead groups of motorcycle riders on UK and European tours.
Conduct rider briefings before and during tours.
Manage group riding and ensure riders remain together safely.
Provide assistance with basic motorcycle issues where possible.
Manage fuel stops, rest breaks and daily riding schedules.
Liaise with hotels, ferry companies, restaurants and other suppliers.
Deal professionally with unexpected situations such as road closures, breakdowns or changes to the itinerary.
Ensure riders understand the planned route and daily schedule.
Provide a friendly, professional and approachable service.
Maintain accurate tour information and report any incidents or problems.
Represent the tour company professionally at all times.
Extensive motorcycle riding experience.
Full motorcycle licence.
Experience riding in the UK and Europe.
Good knowledge of European roads and motorcycle touring.
Confident using GPS navigation and GPX routes.
Good communication and people skills.
Ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions when circumstances change.
Basic motorcycle mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
Previous group-riding or tour-leading experience is desirable but not essential.
Willingness to travel and spend extended periods away from home.
