Our NC500 self-guided motorcycle tour takes you on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Scottish Highlands, following the spectacular North Coast 500 route.
Starting and finishing in Inverness, the route heads west towards the famous Bealach na Bà and the stunning Applecross Peninsula, before continuing through the dramatic landscapes of Torridon and along the rugged west coast to Ullapool.
From there, the route heads north through some of Scotland’s most remote and breathtaking scenery, taking in Kylesku, Durness and the northern coastline before continuing east to John o’ Groats and Wick.
The final leg takes you south through the eastern Highlands before returning to Inverness.
Expect winding mountain roads, dramatic coastlines, remote Highland landscapes, beautiful lochs, historic sites and some truly spectacular viewpoints.
With carefully planned routes and accommodation arranged, you have everything you need to enjoy the NC500 at your own pace — no group to follow, no schedule to keep, just you, your motorcycle and some of Scotland’s finest roads.

FROM THE EURO TUNNEL TO THE HEART OF THE ALPS
This unforgettable self-guided motorcycle adventure begins at the Euro Tunnel, heading through France and into Germany before reaching the spectacular Black Forest.
From the flowing roads of the Black Forest, the route continues south into Switzerland, where the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as we enter the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The route takes in some of Europe's most iconic mountain roads, including the legendary Furka Pass, with its spectacular Alpine scenery and high mountain hairpins. From Switzerland, we continue into northern Italy and towards the mighty Stelvio Pass, one of the most famous motorcycle roads in Europe, with its incredible series of hairpin bends climbing high into the Alps.
From Stelvio, the journey heads towards the beautiful Lake Garda, where the towering mountains give way to the stunning blue waters and picturesque lakeside towns of northern Italy.
After enjoying Lake Garda and the surrounding roads, we begin our journey north and then west, making our way back towards France and the Euro Tunnel for the journey home.
This is a tour that combines fast-flowing European roads, winding Alpine passes, dramatic mountain scenery and beautiful Italian lakes, giving riders the chance to experience some of the finest motorcycle riding Europe has to offer.
